Although all profiles have unique design there are some with just that little bit more in it. Beside creating unique design, you can also use some interesting image to get someone into visiting your profile. Looking through the profile search, that first image must be something to draw attention and force visitor into clicking it. So it must be interesting or funny. It also depends on what the visitor is looking for, but choosing the right image is definitely a plus. Using slightly bigger images also may help. Going through the search feature, you will see that interesting images do not always have interesting profiles behind them, but I guess that you clicked didn't you? And so will others.

It's all over the net that most myspace profile pages have like, less than perfect design and yet it doesn't really matter much even if true. Success Myspace has shown means that design is not much and that a website can be quite large without the perfect design & code. And it's not that hard to spice it up a bit if nothing else then because you may like it..

Well, this layout, techno_girl, is really cute. Sometimes I feel there is no point talking about design because what's treasure for someone is not for someone else, some folks will say they don't like something and some will say the opposite. Just found it interesting. Everybody creates his/her view of the world and profiles reflect a person behind it or at least their current mood.

There is also nicely done profile at www.myspace.com/amorverde. The owner is a vegan and profile reflects that. A big leaf behind the text just does it. I think that simple solutions like this are quite enough to give your profile that personal touch.

One of the easiest ways to improve the looks of your MySpace profile is to add a background of your choice.

It may not be an easy read at first but is probably one of the best tutorials on myspace layout customization and if you wish to present yourself better and to be different from others then some page tweaking is necessary.
