Tweaking your myspace layout

If you're trying to change your myspace layout to a better one the best place to start with is Mike Davidson's tutorial on Hacking A More Tasteful MySpace. The result is at www.myspace.com/mikeindustries. It may not be an easy read at first but is probably one of the best tutorials on myspace layout customization and if you wish to present yourself better and to be different from others then some page tweaking is necessary. Modification code is pasted into your "About me" box which is the place where you can inject changes to your myspace pages. Interesting and cute are certainly hacks for the numbers of friends and small change to the boring "xy is in your extended network". Mike gives his code but asks that you don't use this exact theme, you must modify it: "I do ask that you don’t use my exact theme but hopefully I’m providing you enough so that a few minutes in Photoshop is all you need to produce something you’re proud of."

There are more fine myspace profile pages that i would like to mention, one of them being www.myspace.com/em_81. Clean and easy to follow, this layout is an excellent example how profile can be designed well.
